Food Safety International has more than 30 years of experience in addressing food safety concerns. Our audits evaluate the adequacy of the food safety program through documentation review. FSI includes integrated pest management for food safety, cleaning practices and security issues in its audits.

OUR BEGinnings

Food safety International, Inc. started as a family run business in 1976, with a registered sanitarian and a certified SQF consultant auditor, BRC and IFS Auditor. After September 11, 2001, we recognized the need for personalized security and safety services in the food industry. Since then, Food Safety International has been modifying its programs to specialize in those areas, including a review of recall procedures.

In March 2004, Food Safety International became incorporated in order to provide better service to our customers. Food Safety International began consultation work for GFSI audits in November 2009 by providing in-plant or online consultations. Food Safety International now has accredited SQF consultant auditors in multiple product categories.
